At ALEO we want you to love and care about your purchase as much as we do. All ALEO products are mode only using natural materials and sustainable dying processes, so in order to extend it’s lifecycle and continue to look beautiful we recommend following our 5 step guide to leather care. 

1. Keep it clean: 

Regularly wipe your leather handbag with a clean, damp cloth to remove any dirt, dust or stains. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that can damage the leather.

      2. Avoid excessive exposure to water:

Leather is not waterproof, so try to avoid exposing your handbag to excessive amounts of water. If it gets wet, wipe it with a dry cloth and let it air dry naturally.

3. Store it properly: 

When not in use, store your handbag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use our dust bag or cover to protect it from dust and moisture.

     4. Use leather conditioner:

To maintain the suppleness and shine of your leather handbag, use a leather conditioner regularly. Apply a small amount of conditioner to a soft cloth and gently rub it into the leather. Wipe off any excess with a clean cloth.

5. Handle with care: 

Be gentle when handling your leather handbag, especially when opening or closing the zippers, clasps or buckles. Rough handling can cause damage to the leather or hardware.
